London Olympics inspire our children

I'm going to be at the Closing Ceremony with my
brother, Steven Johnston. Steven was a volunteer who took part in the
Opening Ceremony, being one of 300 volunteers to showcase the UK to the
world at the very beginning of the show.
I've watched many hours of the Olympic Games. I really felt part of the games and screamed encouragement to TeamGB. I've observed my girls mesmerised by the Olympians and full of pride about our team.
Now I'd love to welcome an Olympian to visit schools in Bishop's Stortford, Herts. Who is that Olympian going to be?
My daughters, Emaelia and Alexis, would say Andrew Osagie who has inspired them to run long distances with someone timing them. Alexis
(5) would also say Ben Maher, because yesterday
she had a stable day and two riding lessons. She managed rising trot
with ease.
My daughters' school,
Summercroft, promotes cycling with a dedicated individual who supports
balance bikes for younger children and road safety for older children.
Would one of our amazing cyclists visit?
My
greatest thanks must go to the Olympians for inspiring sport and the
belief that one can win.
I believe 'children's lifestyles count '.
Would you visit schools in Bishop's Stortford, please.
